Workshops

I have a portfolio of 10 exciting and design-driven workshops.

Some of these workshops might already be up and running with other organisations that you can book onto, as I run my workshops through companies like the Museum of Brands, Conservatoire (London), the Market Research Society, and others.

Or, you can book a workshop as part of your conference, or within your company/department as a private event directly.
I am available to hire for on-site workshops, and online.

Gamification Workshop Masterclasses

My Gamification Workshop Masterclasses have been running for 12+ years, to fantastic delegate and organiser feedback.
I’m delighted to have worked with the Museum of Brands, dozens of universities, Fortune 500 companies, as well as NGO”s and charities to bring the concept of Gamification to life, and more importantly, in a way that fosters practical application.

My workshops mix education with examples and case-studies with learning-by-doing, fun and creativity.
Gamification is being used in every industry on the planet, so I’ve created six workshops in the series to help you understand how gamification is being used in your sector.
Workshops can be delivered on-site and online.

The Importance of Celebration workshop

Visit workshop page

An empowerment workshop for  women that encourages storytelling, celebration, and defeating Imposter Syndrome. The Lean In organisation thought it was “Important, uplifting, and absolutely fantastic for our delegates”. Delegates have both laughed and cried during this workshop, that teaches us all to be less apologetic. Book  for International Women’s Day.

Make your own Boardgame workshop

Solve a real-world problem. Appropriate for groups of professionals, or groups of young people, to develop creative problem-solving skills in a fun and playful way. Working in teams, delegates design and make a boardgame together using materials that can be imaginatively  upcycled. Elevate critical thinking, design, and collaboration skills with this enjoyable day of learning-by-doing.

Botanical Illustration with a Close-Up Twist

We’re not painting a vase of flowers -this is truly different! We zoom in to see super close-ups of organic objects including flowers, seeds, lichens, & shells to get a ‘micro’ view, and then illustrate, paint and draw the abstract forms and patterns we see. A joy-filled workshop that gives an appreciation for nature, helps us stay present with the changing seasons, while learning new skills.

Infographics & Insight Visualisation
workshop

Transform any information into engaging, impactful messages with this consistently sold-out workshop. With expert co-facilitators Betty Adamou and filmmaker Paul McGhie, delegates learn valuable design principles with basic Photoshop training to make infographics, and improve PPT presentations. Valuable for anyone who often needs to present numbers, analytical data, or insight.

“It was a great workshop! Very informative & gave lots of ideas to create something new. 💫I will share some ideas with my team”

– Attendee from my Gamification in Advertising & Marketing workshop with the Museum of Brands

“So inspiring – and so many ideas! Thank you Betty – amazing session. I now know more about Gamification and I see how it can not only apply in Market Research, but so many other areas of our work”

– Attendee from a Gamification in Market Research workshop on-site at PwC (UK)

“Hi Betty, so great to meet you this morning – your workshop was honestly really inspiring and has honestly got me buzzing with ideas. Looking forward to connecting on LinkedIn and hopefully real life again in the future!”

– Anna Kersey Daley, Creative Director at QVC, after attending my Gamification in Advertising and Marketing workshop at the Museum of Brands

“Hi Betty, Many thanks for delivering such an engaging session.
The delegates loved it and had such a great time –thank you! See you at the next session!”

 – Jonathan Wilson booked the Gamification in Marketing Workshop, and is Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Business Research within Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (UK)

“Betty ran a Games, Gamification and Marketing workshop for us at the CIM which was both insightful and thought provoking. Each group had distinct commercial objectives and Betty was able to guide them in developing a strategy for design and implementation.

She also set the attendees a 20-minute challenge to invent a ‘behaviour change’ game for a charity of their choice, with some stunning results. The feedback from delegates was excellent.
We have already booked Betty for several more sessions among other groups”

-Philip Preston, Head of the Chartered Institute for Marketing (UK)

“Thanks again Betty for such a great and inspiring workshop today! Learned so much about gamification that I didn’t know before. My mind is buzzing with ideas!”

– Attendee from my Gamification in Advertising and Marketing workshop on-site at the Museum of Brands

“Betty ran a workshop session for our insights team on-site in Germany and we thoroughly enjoyed being placed in a playful mindset inhaling some inspirational & substantial insights about Gamification.
The beauty is that these principles are not only applicable to Market Research! We’ve had a few of these sessions before, but Betty’s stood out from her enthusiasm for the subject, her clarity, and her ability to answer our questions (however obscure our questions were!).
We’re all enthusiastic to continue learning from her.”

– Uta Morrison, Researcher at Boehringer-Ingelheim (Germany)

“Betty, your Gamification in Training and Education workshop yesterday was such an eye-opener. Absolutely engaging, and you are such a brilliant speaker too! Myself, and a few colleagues that attended, will definitely use these insights to inspire how we run training in the future.”

– Attendee after attending my Gamification in Training and Education workshop as part of an NHS conference
