Betty Adamou has been invited to speak at over 500 events since starting her company, Research Through Gaming, at the age of 24. As well as keynoting conferences on the way she uses games in research, she speaks about her experience and perspective as a female entrepreneur in games, technology and data.
After founding her second business, the Not Sorry Club, at the height of COVID-19, Betty presented a 6-part series on BBC Radio Suffolk called Not Sorry Stories. That led to more invitations to speak on inspiring and celebrating unapologetic women, and to her interactive talk and workshop The Importance of Celebration, which started life as a guest article.

Betty also gives guest lectures at universities and schools worldwide. She is available as a keynote speaker, panellist, interviewee, webinar presenter or guest lecturer, virtually or face-to-face.

What organisers say
Betty's Masterclasses, enthusiasm and all-round creative energy has inspired the Vision One team to create new and interactive marketing methods. Betty is a true expert in Gamification and knowledge leader in how this method can be used in Marketing and Market Research. We recommend Betty wholeheartedly!
Tony Lewis, Managing Director, Vision One (Gamification in Marketing Masterclass, virtual)
Betty ran a Games, Gamification and Marketing workshop for us at the CIM which was both insightful and thought provoking. Each group had distinct commercial objectives and Betty was able to guide them in developing a strategy for design and implementation. She also set the attendees a 20-minute challenge to invent a 'behaviour change' game for a charity of their choice, with some stunning results. The feedback from delegates was excellent. We have already booked Betty for several more sessions among other groups.
Philip Preston, Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK)
Our team thoroughly enjoyed our workshop and consultation session, and we now feel much more confident designing an engaging gamified survey for our client, a pharma company. Betty flew out to us here in Germany and helped us look at our diabetes research with a fresh perspective and shared plenty of tips and tricks that will transfer well to a range of other projects.
Anne-Sophie Lenoir, Researcher, Exevia (Germany)
Elaine and I wanted to thank you so much for providing both your workshops here at the HCS Education conference. We have had really positive feedback already, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Dr Philippa May, Head of Education and Development for Healthcare Science, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (Gamification in Training and Education Workshop, Healthcare Science Education Conference)
Betty ran a Lunch and Learn session for our insights team in Germany and we thoroughly enjoyed being placed in a playful mindset, inhaling some inspirational and substantial insights about Gamification. We've had a few of these sessions before, but Betty's stood out for her enthusiasm for the subject, her clarity, and her ability to answer our questions (however obscure our questions were!).
Uta Morrison, Researcher, Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany)
So inspiring - and so many ideas! I now know more about Gamification and I see how it can not only apply in Market Research, but so many other areas of our work.
Attendee, Gamification in Market Research workshop on-site at PwC (UK)
Many thanks for delivering such an engaging session. The delegates loved it and had such a great time. See you at the next session!
Jonathan Wilson, Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Business Research, Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (Gamification in Marketing Workshop)
