  • Betty has been invited to guest lecture at Brunel University to the MA Students about using Games and Gamification in research and for other forms of data collection.

Upcoming event: Guest Lecture at University of Winchester

  • Our CEO and Founder Betty Adamou has been invited to speak about Games and Gamification in research, while also incorporating her ResearchGames into the sessions. Betty will be speaking to the New Media Marketing students and playing our small library of games with them to show how to practically apply games and gamification in online and offline research.

Guest Lecture: University of Winchester, UK

  • Completely serendipitously, while Betty was at the University of Winchester meeting with a team of gaming Professors and PhD students, Betty was invited to listen in to a lecture for the BA Fashion students, given her Fashion background. In an honest talk, Betty spoke to the students about her short time in fashion, and how building her own business has taught her lessons she’d wished she’d learned during her time studying and designing womenswear. Betty spoke about entreprenurship to the students, and how cash flow is paramount to building business for the 90% of students in the room who said they wanted to begin their own fashion houses after University.

  • Betty Adamou was invited by Professor Liesbet van Zoonen to Guest Lecture at the University of Loughborough to the students studying media landscapes and research. Betty spoke to the students about the difference between Games and Gamification research and how Games can, and have been used in research to date, and what to expect in the future.

  • I was invited to this event by the City University London on 22nd February to talk about the work we do at Research Through Gaming Ltd, with the Games Design and Technology and Games and Computer Science students from the City University London. The events’ aim is to promote careers in software development and programming. The event will kick off with some presentations and a Q & A featuring people from major games companies. Together with our interns, we will be giving careers advice and demo’s of our work to the students.
